LEWISTON – Seven area students are among 481 who are starting at Bates College this fall.

Auburn: William L. Locke is a 2004 graduate of Poland Regional High School and the son of William and Priscilla Locke.

Bowdoin: William K. Jack is a 2004 graduate of Mount Ararat High School in Topsham and the son of Ronald Jack and Jane Jack.

Farmington: Matthew H. Dunlap is a 2004 graduate of Mount Blue High School and the son of Douglas and Mary Dunlap. Jacob R. Hardy is a 2004 graduate of Mount Blue High School and the son of Duane and Carol Hardy.

Greene: Cassandra K. Kirkland is a 2004 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner and the daughter of Allan Kirkland and Kathryn Grefer-Kirkland.

Mexico: Chad D. Casey is a 2004 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford, and his guardian is Dorothy Casey.

Turner: Kyle B. Davis is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and the son of Fred and Norma Davis.
