DIXFIELD – Dixfield’s Historical Society Exhibition Hall brightened with a colorful rainbow of wild and cut garden flowers and plants at the Second Annual Festival of Flowers Show on Aug. 15.

Throughout the day, hundreds of flower and plant enthusiasts viewed and admired the colorful displays, then voted by ballot for their preference and the “Peoples’ Choice Award.”

Show judges Ruth and Wesley Raynor selected the following award winners: first, Donna Towle, cut garden flowers; second, Charlotte Collins, mini bouquet under four inches; third, Beverly Child, bouquet wild flowers; Peoples’ Choice Award, Beverly Child, bouquet of wild flowers; Best of Show Award, Cindy Manzer, bouquet wild flowers.

The Festival of Flowers Show is an annual August event held in conjunction with the Dixfield Main Street Outdoor Market.
