I recently had the displeasure of reading a letter written by Mr. Jack McKee (Aug.23) in the Sun Journal. In his letter, he brought forth some strong accusations, but unfortunately left out many pertinent facts.

Apparently, Mr. McKee is upset over some “neo-con, would-be authors” having the audacity to use their rights and bring to challenge John Kerry. Imagine these Vietnam vets, all 200 plus of them, having the nerve to voice their opinion of this self-appointed hero.

Of course, when the president’s military records were being scrutinized by the liberal media, they demanded, and received, full disclosure. A maneuver Mr. Kerry for some reason dare not do.

Mr. McKee goes on to blame the death of our brave men and women in Iraq on “the citizens of Florida and the Supreme Court” for allowing this president to hold the office he rightfully attained. Forget the Constitution.

The Constitution will guarantee the right for Mr. McKee to vote for Sen. Kerry. As for me, check one for Bush.
