MINOT – Christine Elaine Sprague of Minot was recently selected to participate in National 2004 Miss Teen Portland pageant competition on Sept. 5.

Patty Neidert, Portland pageant coordinator, said Sprague will compete for more than $20,000 in scholarships, prizes and specialty gifts. She will compete in the Miss Teen division in modeling routines and interviewing with a judging panel.

The winner will represent Portland and the surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando, Fla.
