TOPSHAM – Flying Changes Center for Therapeutic Riding is seeking volunteers for its fall and winter programs. The center provides services to children and adults of all ages who deal with physical, mental health or cognitive challenges.

Experienced persons are needed to work in lessons as horse leaders as well as for assistance with equine care.

Training is provided for individuals who are interested in learning about and participating in the care of horses and/or as a side walker in lessons.

Other opportunities include data entry (Apple), support with fund-raising and coordination of fund-raising events. Time commitment is generally about two hours minimum a week, and volunteer help in needed weekdays and weekends.

The center is located on Route 201 approximately 2.5 miles from Mount Ararat High School. High school students seeking to meet a volunteering requirement are welcome. For information, people can call 729-0168 or visit www.flyingchanges.org.
