LEWISTON – The YWCA of Central Maine has begun swim lesson registration for the fall session. Swim lessons will be offered Monday through Thursday morning, afternoon and evenings and Saturday mornings. They will be available for all abilities and ages, 6 months to adult. Classes may be one half or an hour long, depending on level.

Sessions will begin on Sept. 11 and will last seven to eight weeks. Private swim lessons are also available by appointment.

Participants of the YWCA swim lesson program must be members of the YWCA. Membership is good for a year and includes free membership swims and other discounted program fees. YWCA membership fees are children up to 12, $25; youths, 13 to 17, $35; adults, 18 to 59, $50; senior citizens, 60 and older, $40.

Adult swim lessons will be offered from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays for four weeks and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Fridays for eight weeks. The cost is $35 for the four-week session and $65 for the eight-week session plus YWCA membership. For more information or to register, call or visit the YWCA.
