AUBURN – Annette M. Poulin, 90, formerly of 81 Webber Ave., Lewiston, died peacefully early Monday evening, Aug. 30, at the Sarah Frye Home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lewiston Aug. 5, 1914, a daughter of Dominic and Laura (Labbe) Asselin. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.

On Oct. 27, 1934, she married Antonio C. Poulin who passed away Jan. 14, 1970. Mrs. Poulin worked many years in local textile mills spending some years at the Continental Mill and several years at the Bates Mill.

After her retirement, she worked for several years at Bates College in the dining hall. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and Ladies of St. Anne at Holy Cross. She also bowled for many years in the Holy Cross Bowling League.

She was an avid card player and she also enjoyed knitting and baking. She loved life and brought joy to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves three sons, Roger A. Poulin and wife, Marilyn, of Auburn, Robert Poulin and wife, Joanne, of Lewiston, and Bertrand Poulin and wife, Rolande, of Suncity, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Laurette Bolduc, of Auburn, Carmen Bosse, of Lewiston, Jacqueline Dubois, of Lewiston and Marcelle Desrosiers, of Palmetto, Fla.; and a son-in-law, Raymond Landry, of Saco.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine Landry, two sisters, Georgette Fortin and Rita Dube, and three brothers, Adrien, Roger and Raymond Asselin.
