Terms for all of Auburn’s elected officials expire in November. That includes seven City Council seats, seven School Committee seats and the mayor’s job. The city also is looking to fill a six-person Charter Commission. As of Tuesday, 14 people had taken out petitions to run for those at-large seats, City Clerk Mary Lou Magno said. Eighteen people are circulating petitions for City Council.

These potential candidates for Auburn elected offices are circulating petitions. Nominating petitions can be taken out until Sept. 13, the day they must be returned to the City Clerk’s office.
