On the fifth season of CBS’ “Amazing Race,” cousins Charla Faddoul and Mirna Hindoyan made few friends. Fortunately, viewers at home were more sympathetic to the competitive duo.

Charla and Mirna are set to follow up their “Jimmy Kimmel Live” appearance with a cameo on the 10th season premiere of Fox’s late night sketch comedy “MADtv.”

Whether feuding with Colin and Christie or flirting with married host Phil Keoghan, Charla and Mirna played an important role in helping transform “The Amazing Race” from a critically adored, Emmy-winning reality show into a major summer hit for CBS. They were the sixth team eliminated from the show.

Many of the defeated teams have publicly discussed their disrespect for Mirna’s pushy tactics and for Charla’s willingness to use her diminutive stature to get special favors. The cousins have turned around and accused other teams of trying to harm them and prevent them from succeeding.

On Sept. 18’s “MADtv,” the cousins will appear in a sketch titled “The Amazing Presidential Race,” in which they attempt to help Ralph Nader (played by Ike Barinholtz) defeat John Kerry (Michael McDonald) and George Bush (Frank Caliendo) on a race through the swing states. The skit will find Charla reprising her “Amazing Race” task of hauling a 50-pound side of beef.
