Area youth bowlers and their parents are invited to visit Interstate Bowling Center in Hallowell, and Strike Ten Bowling Center in Waterville, on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon to learn about the Young American Bowling Alliance.

The YABA is a youth-oriented sports membership organization that encourages healthy competition and good citizenship. Eligible are those ages 3-21.The Sept. 11 event is free. More information can be obtained by calling either center at 623-6000, or 873-3739.
