MEXICO – Announcement is made of the engagement of Jean Waldron Obertanec and Lee A. Petrie, both of Eliot.
Ms. Obertanec is the daughter of Gladys Waldron of Yonkers, N.Y., and the late Daniel Waldron. She is a medical assistant for the Kittery Family Practice in Kittery.
Mr. Petrie is the son of William and Linda Petrie of Mexico. He is a history teacher at Marshwood Junior High School and is the girls varsity basketball coach at Marshwood High School.
The wedding is planned for August of 2005.
