STRONG – Funeral services for Albert W. Reed, of Strong, were held Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. from the Strong Methodist Church with Rev. Yoo Chai Yi officiating. The choir, under the direction of organist Bea Milewski, sang “In The Garden.” His son-in-law, Lendell Allen sang “Proud To Be An American.” Family members and friends shared memories during the eulegy and also read from letters Albert had written, sharing specific messages and details of his wishes. Pallbearers were Jeffery Allen, Matthew Allen, Darren Allen, Lendell Allen, Kevin Reed, Bryan Reed, Joel Reed and Adam Reed. Committal services were held at the West Freeman Cemetery. A Family Reception followed in the church vestry. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., (Rtes. 2 & 27) Farmington.
