LEWISTON – Jeanne M. Theriault, 84, of 79 Birch St., died Sunday, Sept. 5, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, after a two-week stay.

Born in Lewiston, December 18, 1920, a daughter of the late Nazaire and Yvonne (Bernard) Theriault.

She graduated from Lewiston High School in the Class of 1939 and the Auburn School of Commerce.

Jeanne was part-owner of the family business, Lewiston Crushed Stone, where she served as office manager prior to her retirement in 1972.

Miss Theriault was a member of St. Peter and Paul’s Parish, Society of St. Peter’s, Knights of Columbus 106 Lewiston Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies of St. Ann’s at Holy Family Church.

She enjoyed traveling and reading. Her great loves in life were her family, work and her Catholic faith. Her everlasting support of her beloved St. Peters Parish, St. Peters school and St. Dominic Regional High School will be her enduring legacy.

She is survived by a sister, Marguerite Landry, of Lewiston; a brother, Raymond Theriault and his wife, Carmen, of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Annonciade Theriault, of Lewiston; four nieces, Denise Theriault, Suzanne Hamann, and Rachel St. Pierre, and Diane Fortin; seven nephews, Paul, Maurice, Richard, Roger, Denis and Marc Theriault, and Paul Landry.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Adrien, Gerard and Roland Theriault; her father, Nazaire; her mother, Yvonne; and two nephews, Gilles Landry and Adrien Theriault.
