NORWAY – The Norway Trackers Snowmobile Club will hold the first meeting of the season on Tuesday, Sept. 7. The session will begin with a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. followed by the general meeting at 7.

The club meets the first Tuesday of every month at the clubhouse at Norway Lake. It is time to renew memberships and the club is always looking for new members. It helps provide good trails for snowmobiling in Norway, as well as holding several events throughout the winter.

Even though it is a snowmobiling club, it is not only for those who own snow machines. Members encourage landowners, cross country skiers or folks who enjoy the outdoors in the winter to join.

The club holds the Snow Fest Weekend the last full weekend of January each year. It includes snowmobile drag racing, radar runs and a chowder fest.

If anyone is interested in joining, they can attend the meeting or call Russ at 743-5699 for more information. All memberships include membership to the Maine Snowmobile Association and a subscription to the Maine Snowmobilers magazine, as well as the monthly newsletter. If an MSA member, the club does accept associate memberships.
