LIVERMORE FALLS – A one-day women’s retreat focusing on conquering fear (worry, anxiety, dread) with faith will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the First Baptist Church of Livermore Falls.

Women will be provided with the practical working tools they need to walk confidently with Christ, according to organizers. The seminar is open to all women, regardless of faith affiliation or nonaffiliation. The day will be filled with prayer, music, fellowship, food and learning.

“The Faith-Filled Women in a Fear-Filled World” retreat cost is $20 and includes breakfast, lunch and seminar materials.

The conference is being hosted by Women of the Word, a nonprofit group that meets weekly for Bible study and fellowship. Women wishing to register should call Kimberley at 897-5936.
