NEW SHARON – Winners have been announced for the first annual LEAP Golf Tournament held recently at Sandy River Golf Course in New Sharon.

LEAP is a private non-profit agency that provides community and residential support for people with developmental disabilities and mental retardation in western and central Maine.

Taking top honors was the team of Al Desnoyers, Claire Kranjc and John Kranjc. Second place went to the combination of Clint Smith, Clint Smith, James Smith and Chris Smith. Third place was taken by Jan Irish, Lewis Irish, Derek Gallant, Scott Marchildon.
