I am writing to encourage residents of Norway, Greenwood, West Paris and Waterford to support the candidacy of Roy Gedat for state representative on Nov. 2.

Roy demonstrated his capacity to craft creative solutions for children and families as he built the Child Health Center from a fledgling operation to a multi-faceted agency with a $1.5 million budget. The agency, which Roy led for 18 years, continues to provide many services that make a huge difference in the lives of families in Western Maine.

Roy will bring a fresh perspective to the workings of state government seeking to forge partnerships with the private sector, working for a fair tax system, accessible and affordable health care for all, and a strong education system.

Roy is energetic. He is campaigning actively throughout the district and looks forward to providing a high level of constituent service and advocacy for western Maine.
