During an election year, we hear the good, the bad and the ugly about every candidate. Lewiston has been fortunate to be represented by Sen. Peggy Rotundo. When we consider why one person over another, I would argue that Peggy has a track record of commitment that surpasses anyone that I’ve ever dealt with in Augusta.

By virtue of her role on the Appropriations Committee, she has brought important dollars into the community for education and economic development. She is what all legislators should aspire to – caring, compassionate, forward thinking and untethered enthusiasm.

Anyone that has dealt with Rotundo knows that she does not only respond to inquiries, questions or needs, but does it immediately, and with a thoroughness that is so lacking today.

To re-elect Sen. Rotundo is to send a strong committed voice to Augusta.
