LOUDON, N.H. (AP) – NASCAR fans will have a chance to see the race – and President Bush at next weekend’s Sylvana 300 in Loudon.
Bush is expected to make a campaign stop to court valuable “NASCAR dad” votes at the New Hampshire International Speedway.
The presidential campaigns are paying close attention to New Hampshire’s battleground status – Bush visited New Hampshire twice last month, first in Stratham, then Nashua.
Vice President Dick Cheney and First Lady Laura Bush visited the state last week, as did Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards. John Kerry, Democratic nominee for president, was in Derry last month.
