DIXFIELD – The 44th annual reunion of the Stillman and Carrie Morse Harlow descendants was held Aug. 8 at Rover’s Campground in East Dixfield. There were 52 present.

The reunion opened with a prayer, led by Norman Bryant, after which a potluck dinner was held. Following the meal, there was a time of fellowship and family picture-taking. The main topic at the business meeting was the possibility of changing to a reunion of the Ernest and Myrtle Harlow Bryant descendants. It was voted to keep the reunion as is and remain a gathering honoring the families of Stillman and Carrie Morse Harlow.

New births recorded were: Hayden Douglas Perreault, born Oct. 18, 2003, son of Douglas and Beth Blodgett Perreault and grandson of Steve and Nancy Blodgett; Kelsea Marston, born Oct. 4, 2004, daughter of June and Neil Marston and granddaughter of Richard and Jeannette Bryant; and Brenden Hodkins, born July 23, 2004, son of Adrienne Hodkins and Almond Bryant and grandson of Pam Bryant and Almond Meader.

Deaths recorded from 2003 were Claudia Bryant Byrd, Clayton Holman and Tom Trask.

New officers were elected: Norman Bryant, president; Gary Harlow, vice president, Emily Nutt, secretary, and Kay Hamlin, treasurer.

A game of family trivia was played and several awards were given. It was voted that next year’s Harlow reunion will again be held at Rover’s Campground the second Sunday of August.
