FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) – Steve Rolston, Taylor Twellman and Patrick Noonan each scored two goals Saturday night in the New England Revolution’s 6-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids.

New England (6-11-9) scored four goals before halftime to set franchise records for most goals in a half and most in a game.

The Revolution won for the first time in six games to snap Colorado’s five-match unbeaten strike (4-0-1).

The Rapids (10-8-9) took the lead in the 17th minute when Jean Philippe Peguero scored his sixth goal of the season.

But the Revolution scored two goals within a minute to take control. Ralston put in a rebound of his own shot in the 27th minute, and Twellman added a goal in the 28th minute to put New England ahead.

Rolston scored his second goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 35th minute after a handball by the Rapids’ Pablo Mastroeni.

Noonan scored in the 40th minute and again in the 50th. Twellman closed out the scoring with his second goal in the 71st minute.
