JAY – Albert and Arlene Landry of Jay celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 17 with a surprise open house at The Boiler Room in Wilton.
The party was given by their six children, Karen Black, Lisa Beardsley, Ken, Kevin, Rick and Randy Landry. The couple was married on April 24, 1954. They have 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Each of the couple’s brothers and sisters were present, along with several members of their original wedding party. They renewed their wedding vows, with the Rev. Roger Chabot presiding. After the vows, a video was played, reminiscing the lives of the couple from childhood up to the present. The video was created by their six children.
