AUBURN – Formed Fiber Technologies Inc. has hired Blaine A. Page to head the manufacturer’s maintenance department.

Prior to this, Page was project/maintenance manager with Great Northern Paper in Millinocket and East Millinocket, where he worked for 28 years. There he acquired extensive experience in plant operations, budgeting and maintenance engineering.

Page earned an associate’s degree in civil engineering from Wentworth Institute in Boston. He is a certified plant engineer and has completed a supervisory training program of the Associated Constructors of Maine. He also holds recent certifications in industrial workplace safety, confined space entry, rigging, and blueprint reading. Page, who served in the Marine Corps, is a veteran of the Vietnam war.
