As a mother of three small children, I am very disappointed in the person or persons who felt they needed to steal our safety turtle boy from our driveway. We had the turtle boy – which is a fluorescent green boy holding an orange flag and on him is the word “slow” that kinda looks like a turtle – because we live on a very busy section of Russell Street with a good size driveway.

People turn around in it quite often and I deal with it, but we put the turtle boy out so people would use more caution when doing so. For whatever reason, someone thought it would be a funny joke to take him or someone else felt they needed him more.

Considerate people, who thought the idea of having a safety turtle boy was a good idea, have stopped in the past to inquire where they could purchase one.

I feel very hurt and angry that someone has interfered with the safety of my children.
