LEWISTON – More than 200 volunteers helped make the August Prelude and Festival de Joie successful. A volunteer meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 150 East Ave.

The meeting will review and critique the prelude and festival. The board will listen to the comments, ideas and suggestions in order to make the 2005 festival even more successful. The comments will be reviewed over the winter months and will help the board make plans. Everyone is asked to attend.

The dates for next year’s Festival de Joie will be Aug. 5, 6 and 7, at Railroad Park, Oxford Street. Additional information about the festival can be obtained at www.festivaldejoie.org or by calling 782-6231.
