BRUNSWICK – The Maine League of Conservation Voters endorsed incumbent Rep. Deb Hutton in District 67, which includes the towns of Bowdoinham, Bowdoin, Perkins Township and Richmond.
The league recently released its 18th annual Environmental Scorecard. Hutton’s votes earned a 100 percent rating for votes ranging from wildlife protection and land conservation to toxic chemicals in everyday products on store shelves.
“Deb Hutton deserves our support, and the support of everyone who thinks clean air, clean water and protection of our natural resources should be a priority,” said Dan Amory, president of the league’s board.
The Maine League of Conservation Voters is an independent, nonpartisan organization that works to make natural resources protection a priority for Maine voters, candidates and elected officials.
Hutton lives in Bowdoinham with her husband and two children.
