SOUTH CHINA – Overtime proved fruitless as Maranacook and Erskine drew to a 0-0 tie in KVAC boys’ soccer action Monday.
Although Maranacook dominated the midfield, they couldn’t get past Erskine’s Dui Lyferd, who played a solid game at sweeper.
Tom Martinelli started the game in net for the Black Bears (3-0-2), before being injured in the second half. He was replaced by Will Bardaglio, and together they combined for six saves. Levi Dennison turned away 13 shots for the Eagles (3-1-2).
Lake Region 4, St. Dom’s 1
NAPLES – Alex Toews scored two goals to lead Lake Region to a 4-1 victory over St. Dom’s in boys’ soccer play Monday.
Aaron Chase and Todd Schigo added a goal apiece to help carry the Lakers (2-4-1) to the victory. Blake Laughlin recorded six saves in the net for Lake Region.
Ryan Gilbert tallied 11 saves for the Saints (3-3) and John Ethridge scored an unassisted goal to avoid the shutout.
Oak Hill 3, Rockland 3
ROCKLAND – Oak Hill and Rockland drew to a 3-3 tie in boys’ soccer action Monday evening in what proved to be a very physical game.
Four yellow cards were handed out in the contest.
Rockland’s (1-4-1) Roman Sonnek, Ben Sturks, and Eric Pier posted the first three goals of the game.
Oak Hill came from behind in the final 12 minutes to score three unanswered goals. Mike Daggett netted two, while Jeremy Levesque scored off a penalty kick with two minutes remaining in the contest to tie the game.

Lake Region 35, Falmouth 19
FALMOUTH – Mike Simpson threw for two touchdowns, one in the third and one in the fourth quarter, as Lake Region dominated over Falmouth 35-19 in a Western Class B Campbell Conference football game played Monday night.
