WALES – Andrea Lane tallied two goals, both booted from the top corner of the box, to lift Oak Hill to a 3-1 victory over Rockland in girls’ soccer action Monday.

Magan Blais added a goal and an assist, while Kassie Kupfer was solid defensively as the Raiders (1-5) won for the first time.

The lone Rockland (0-4-2) goal was netted by Jane Pazalkis in the second half.

Ashly Mederios and Courtney Seguin shared the net for the Raiders, combining to turn away 24 shots for the win.

St. Dom’s 2, Waynflete 1

KITTERY – Kathrin Gallick and Heidi DeHann had a goal each for St. Dom’s, who defeated Waynflete 2-1.

Kimberley Ortengen scored the only goal for the Flyers (1-1) while Mary Hewey made 10 saves in the net.

Goalkeeper Danielle Theriault had seven saves for the Saints (4-0) in the winning effort.

Monmouth 4, Carrabec 3

MONMOUTH – An early goal by Brittany Scirica gave Monmouth a lead they would not lose as the Mustangs fought their way to a 4-3 victory over Carrabec.

Jill Armstrong, Courtney Barrett and Bianca Cloutier each added a goal for the Mustangs (3-3). Moe Beaulieu had eight saves for Monmouth.

Alicia Tingley scored twice for the Cobras (1-5) while Cori Goodwin also scored. A strong performance by goalkeeper Amy Campbell kept Carrabec in the game.

Brunswick 1, Oxford Hills 0

SOUTH PARIS – It was a battle of the unbeatens in the KVAC as Brunswick visited Oxford Hills in girls’ soccer action Monday.

Brunswick walked away still unbeaten after Megan Rousseau netted the lone goal of the game for the Dragons (4-0-1) on a penalty kick and carried her team to the 1-0 victory. Lindsay Hammond put up a strong performance in the net for Brunswick turning away all seven of Oxford Hill’s shots.

Ally Fox was solid in goal for the Vikings (3-1-1) as she accumulated 11 saves.

Buckfield 13, Averill 0

BUCKFIELD – Candace Allen scored three goals to lead the way offensively for Buckfield in a 13-0 victory over Averill.

Kasey Farrington, Tiffany Dunn, and Alyssa Henderson added two goals apiece for the Bucks (3-3). Three different goalies combined for four saves and the shutout for Buckfield.

Gypsy Carron stayed strong in the net dealing with 31 shots on goal and turning away 18 of them for the Beavers (0-3).

Dirigo 3, Mt. Abram 2

SALEM – Katie Hutchinson netted two second-half goals to carry Dirigo to a 3-2 victory over Mt. Abram.

Brooke Weston scored the other goal for the Cougars (6-0) and Kristina Chow contributed six saves from the net to secure the victory.

Sadie White scored both goals for the Roadrunners (3-3) in the first half. Brianna Wilkins matched Chow’s six saves in net.

Maranacook 7, Erskine 1

READFIELD – Toby Martin and Allison Meyer each netted a pair of goals as Maranacook rolled past Erskine to post a triumphant 7-1 victory.

Martin scored her first goal 52 seconds into the contest. Ali Trafton and both of Meyer’s goals were then scored within 47 seconds of each other to break the contest open.

Jackie Mrazik and Katie Watts each scored a goal for the Black Bears (5-0-1) in the second half. Emma Prysunka and Shannon Bean were solid defensively, keeping pressure off goalie Melissa Piper.

Geo. Valley 1, Lisbon 0

THOMASTON – With two minutes remaining in the contest, Hannah Yovino picked up the ball in the front of the keeper and drove it to the back of the net to give Georges Valley a 1-0 edge over Lisbon.

After a scramble in front of the keeper, Molly Hoyt passed the ball to Yovino for the game-winner. Elyse Chamberlain stopped four shots to preserve the shutout for the Buccaneers (5-1). Georges Valley dominated the field, recording 22 shots on goal to Lisbon’s four.

Gabrielle Mathieu turned away 15 shots for the Greyhounds (3-3).

Mtn. Valley 3, Hall-Dale 0

FARMINGDALE – Kristen Arsenault scored two unassisted first-half goals to help Mountain Valley defeat Hall-Dale 3-0.

Terissa Ridge chipped in with a goal for the Falcons (3-3). Ashley Pelletier made nine saves for the shutout.

Hall-Dale picked up the pace in the second half and had multiple scoring opportunities, but could not put the ball in the net.

Winthrop 1, Boothbay 0

WINTHROP – Kim Toothaker scored what turned out to be the lone goal of the game to lift Winthrop to a 1-0 triumph over Boothbay.

Toothaker picked the ball up after a corner, and stuffed it home to give Winthrop (3-3) the edge.

Katie Pushard was solid in goal for the Ramblers, making three saves for the shutout. Amanda McFetridge stopped 12 shots for Boothbay (0-6-1).

Field hockey Boothbay 3, Lisbon 2

LISBON FALLS – Goalkeeper Kara Squillanti had an impressive 22 saves as she led Boothbay to a 3-2 victory over Lisbon in field hockey Monday.

Squillanti dealt with constant pressure as Lisbon outshot Boothbay 23-9. Goals from Fiona Curr, Nicole Williams, and Allie Andrews provided the offense needed to lift the Seahawks (2-5).

Emily Poliquin and Brittany Doughty each netted a goal for the Greyhounds (5-2) in the losing effort.

Telstar 2, Livermore Falls 1

LIVERMORE FALLS – Danna Wilson scored on a corner kick with 6:57 left in the game to lift Telstar to a 2-1 victory over Livermore Falls.

Megan Bailey tied the game for the Rebels with 10:28 remaining in the first half. Stephanie Tripp kept Telstar in the game from the net recording six saves.

Zalen Richards scored the only goal for the Andies with 19:11 left in the first half, while Sam Whiting had five saves.

Oxford Hills 3, Lewiston 1

LEWISTON – Kia Pratt and Brianna Thompson each posted a goal and an assist as Oxford Hills slipped past Lewiston 3-1 in field hockey action.

Alyssa Snowe chipped in with a goal off a corner for the Vikings (2-3) win.

Danielle Lavoie recorded the only goal for Lewiston (1-4), which had a difficult time offensively throughout the contest.
