NEWRY – Graveside services for Douglas L. Vail of Newry were conducted Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Powers Cemetery, Newry, with Pastor Charles Mason Jr. officiating. Special music included: 1) “On The Wings of an Angel” sung by Mia and Julie Ann, and 2) “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” sung by guitarist Donny Katlin. A reception followed at the Bear River Grange in Newry. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford, ME 04276.
