ST. HYACINTHE, Quebec – Sister Edna Ppin (Sainte-Croix), 87, of the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Hyacinthe passed away on Sept. 21.
She was born April 12, 1917, in New Bedford, Mass.
She entered the Community on Sept. 8, 1934, and made profession on April 9, 1937. She served in Lewiston at the Healy Asylum and at St. Mary’s Hospital, at St. Louis Home in Scarborough, and in Rochester, N.H., as Superior. The greater part of her services were spent at St. Peter’s Home in Manchester, N.H.
Surviving are one sister, Miss Ccile Ppin of Taunton, Mass.; a few nieces and cousins.
