LEWISTON – The principals of Ouellette, LaBonte, Roberge & Allen, P.A. have admitted Gary A. Wigant CPA as a principal in the firm.

Wigant graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree and became a certified public accountant in 1989. He joined the firm in 1987 and has been an audit manager for the past several years. His areas of practice include the affordable housing industry and real estate development, the hotel industry, manufacturing, equipment dealerships, and non-profit organizations as well as the preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns. Wigant also oversees the firm’s system of quality control policies and procedures for compliance with the standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

His professional associations included the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He and his wife, Diane, reside in Lewiston with their two sons, Benjamin and Brian.
