AUBURN – Gena Gaetani led a trio of players to score goals as Edward Little rolled past Morse 3-0 in KVAC girls’ field hockey action Wednesday.

April Gerry and Katelyn Perkins also scored for the Red Eddies (6-1). Katie Ouellette made nine saves in net to notch the win.

St. Dom’s 1, Waynflete 0

PORTLAND – Elicia Dorso took a feed from Becky Lewis and scored with 22:52 remaining in regulation to lift St. Dom’s to a 1-0 win over Waynflete.

Freshman goalie Elizabeth Bennett needed only three saves the win.

Telstar 8, Dirigo 0

BETHEL – Bailey Davis and Nola Wentworth scored two goals apiece to power Telstar to a 8-0 rout over Dirigo.

Liz Rosenberg, Kayla Mills, Jess Farrington and Mallory Brown also scored for the Rebels (6-1-1).

Heather Gionet needed only four saves to record the win.

Livermore Falls 3, Jay 0

JAY – Erica Gatz, Taryn Flag, and Valen Richards all scored to lead Livermore Falls to a 3-0 victory over Jay.

Samantha Whiting stopped four shots to post the shutout.

Lisbon 1, Hall-Dale 0

FARMINGDALE – Emily Poliquin netted the game-winning goal with 6:35 left to give Lisbon a 1-0 win over Hall-Dale.

Poliquin picked up a pass from right-wing Amanda Stevens in front of the net. Poliquin’s first shot was deflected by the goalie, but she found the back of the net with her second attempt.

Winthrop 5, Georges Valley 0

THOMASTON – Nicki Emery led the charge with three goals as Winthrop rolled over Georges Valley 5-0.

Kelli Lascko and Brittany Gandet added a goal each for the Ramblers (6-0-1).

Buckfield 2, Rangeley 1

RANGELEY – Candace Allen tallied a pair of goals as Buckfield edged past Rangeley, 2-1.

Allen scored off a pass from Elise Barten in the first half to give Buckfield the lead. Rangeley came back in the second half to tie it on a goal by Raina Eustis. Allen scored game-winning goal for the Bucks (4-2), from the 18-yard mark just before the half.

Camden 3, Oak Hill 0

CAMDEN – Caitlyn Brown, Lexi Coleman, and Kayla Gushee each scored a goal as Camden slipped past Oak Hill, 3-0.

Ashly Mederios stopped 27 of 30 shots in net for the Raiders.

Maranacook 13, Rockland 1

ROCKLAND – Jackie Mrazik and Allison Meyer tallied three goals apiece as Maranacook dominated Rockland, posting a 13-1 romp.

Ali Trafton and Toby Martin each added a pair of goals for the Black Bears.

Anna Snow, Kelly Neptune and Katie Watts also scored for Maranacook (6-0-1), which outshot Rockland 60-6 in the contest.

The lone Rockland (0-4-2) goal was recorded by Kristen Harjula.

Dirigo 7, Hall-Dale 0

DIXFIELD – Melissa Harvey and Brooke Weston combined for four goals, leading Dirigo to a 7-0 shutout over Hall-Dale.

Alexa Kaubris, Danielle Glover, and Megan Russell each added a goal apiece for the Cougars.

Lisbon 2, Boothbay 0

LISBON – Soliel Mathieu scored a goal and added an assist to lead Lisbon to a 2-1 victory over Boothbay.

Haley McCrater also scored for the Greyhounds (4-3). Gabrielle Mathieu made four saves in net to earn the win.

Mt. Abram 1, Mountain Valley 1

RUMFORD — Mt. Abram and Mountain Valley played to a 1-1 tie in an epic MVC soccer game which included a fruitless double overtime.

Sadie White gave the Roadrunners (3-3-1) the 1-0 lead.

The lead evaporated just 27 seconds later when Tanya Nichols netted an unassisted goal for the Falcons (3-3-1).
