I am writing to encourage voters to support the re-election of Sen. Bruce Bryant in November.

Sen. Bryant is a diligent reader of fine print, and during the final budget work at the end of the session he found that some essential additional funding for adult education programs had been taken from the budget. It was his quick response and ability to enlist the support of others in the Senate that ensured that the money was restored.

Sen. Bryant has seen many of his fellow workers in the paper industry lose their jobs in recent years and knows that many of them have been assisted in their retraining by Maine’s adult education programs, as have adults in other employment sectors.

Please join me in voting for Sen. Bruce Bryant on Nov. 2.
