LEWISTON – Gracienne N. Letourneau, 96, of 33 Roger St., Lewiston and formerly of 13 Rita Ave., Lewiston, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, Sept. 23, at Marshwood Health Care Center.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 21, 1907, the daughter of Ovide and Alphonsine (Aube) Bergeron and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed as a comber in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement.

She was the widow of Edward A. Letourneau whom she married on Sept. 6, 1937, and who died on Jan. 26, 1997.

Mrs. Letourneau was a member of the Litchfield Senior Citizens and Holy Family Parish.

She is survived by one brother, Arthur Bergeron of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by seven sisters and seven brothers.
