When first lady Laura Bush was asked about Kitty Kelley’s book “The Family,” Mrs. Bush replied, “It’s garbage.”

On Sept. 10, Laura Bush speaks at “W for Women,” saying “that more women hold senior positions in the Bush administration than in any other in history.” She then stated, “That means in the White House, women are in charge of everything abroad and at home.” I ask you, who is spreading the real garbage?

Bush has a way of surrounding himself with bright women to pick their brains. In the end, he has the final say. Mr. Bush did receive an honorable discharge but not because he accomplished anything great. I believe he refused to take his physical because he would probably have failed the drug test.

Garbage, you say? No worse than assuming that women caused this unjust war with Iraq, are polluting the environment and driving the economy into bankruptcy.

Garbage stinks; so does the Bush administration.

Time for a change before they kill us with toxic waste.
