I’m writing to the Sun Journal to voice a view. All we hear during voting time is backbiting, and we wonder why no one votes or knows who to vote for.

I for one will vote; I’ll choose who I think is right for me even if others choose differently. After all, we have to be accounted for in the end by our only judge and jury, Jesus, the King of Kings.

Maybe our politicians should watch Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ.” Then maybe, just maybe, this backbiting would stop.

I’d vote for Jesus if he were on the ballot. In my eyes, he’s already president, so I’ll vote for who I think should be and whom I feel my heart leads me to. Prayer and more prayer is what we need.
