For several weeks, I have read with interest the articles concerning the road work taking place in the Twin Cities. I have also reviewed the summary box of closed or semi-closed streets. During this time, myself, everyone else at E.A. Buschmann Inc., and all those who visit our office in the course of doing business have been dealing with the construction project taking place on Ferry Road, which has not even been mentioned.

I am writing to accomplish several things. First, to all who have tried to reach us and thought it wasn’t possible: Yes, you can get here from there,” although there just might be a wait of a few minutes for the road to open.

Second, a quick thank you to the crew that is trying to work around us as we work around them, as well as to those who patiently wait to get to work each day when the road opens up.

Finally, to the editor, I ask: I thought we had been a part of Lewiston for over 40 years, but perhaps something has now changed? Our road project is never listed in the paper’s summary of road projects. Does this mean we can stop paying property taxes since we are apparently no longer part of Lewiston?
