JAY – The wedding of Amanda Marie Belanger and Andrew Laurier Simoneau was held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the home of the bridegroom’s parents. Vicki Bickford, the bridegroom’s aunt and justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Simoneau is the daughter of Daniel Belanger of Strong and Carla Belanger of Livermore. Mr. Simoneau is the son of Rick and Lisa Simoneau of Jay.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Missy Martin and Nicole Caldwell, cousins, were maids of honor.

Best men were Courtney Barnett and Issac Therrien, cousins.

A reception for the couple was held on July 10 at the AMVETS Hall in Jay. The couple is residing in Chesterville.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and is employed at ICT in Wilton.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Jay High School and is employed at International Paper in Jay.
