LEWISTON – Charles C. Holland Jr., 79, of Dionne Commons in Brunswick, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 19, at Montello Manor with his son at his side.

He was born in St. Helena, Calif., Dec. 11, 1924, a son of Charles C. Sr. and Juanita (Ellis) Holland and was educated in the schools of Sacramento, Calif.

Mr. Holland was a Military Veteran, having served in the Navy during World War II.

Charles was employed as a driver for United Van Lines Moving Co. for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1988.

Among his favorite enjoyments were time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and traveling.

He leaves a son, Charles W. Holland, of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Krystal Brock, Kristie Holland, Jonathan Holland, and Joshua Holland.

He was predeceased by a sister.
