AUBURN – Mary Louise Sinclair, 79, formerly of Pine Street and the Meadowview Apartments, Lewiston, passed away Monday, Sept. 27, at Odd Fellows Home in Auburn, where she had been a resident for the past nine years.

Born in Dover-Foxcroft on Dec. 20, 1924, she was the daughter of Henry and Ann Callahan Jenkins.

She graduated from Houlton High School in 1943 and went on to graduate Madigan Hospital School of Nursing in 1947.

She went on to work as a registered nurse for a few years after graduation and had to retire early due to ill health, and was a homemaker the rest of her life.

On April 24, 1948, she was married to Lloyd R. Sinclair, who passed away in February of 1984.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish, also belonged to the St. Patrick’s Rosary Sodality, the Rebekah Lodge #94, and Lewiston Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons, John Sinclair, of Lewiston, and Richard, and wife, Cathleen Sinclair, of Bangor; a daughter, Ronella “Ronnie,” and husband, Mark Paradis, of Lewiston; a grandson, Phillip Paradis, of Lewiston; three step-grandchildren, Marshall, Randi, and Timothy Dobson, of Bangor; two sisters-in-law, Marie and Betty Jenkins, both of Houlton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Phillip, Cecil, and Jack Jenkins.
