LIVERMORE FALLS – A Canton man was charged after he allegedly assaulted police and an emergency medical responder.
Derek Lee, 19, was charged with assault on a police officer, failure to submit to arrest and assault by bodily fluid on a emergency medical technician, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
Lee was also summonsed for possession by consumption of alcohol and violation of conditions of release, he said.
A Main Street resident requested an ambulance for Lee on Sunday, Sept. 19, after he had fallen and sustained facial injuries.
When the woman went inside to call the ambulance, Lee followed and wouldn’t leave the apartment when she asked him to, Steward said.
