WEARE, N.H. (AP) – The driver in a head-on crash was killed but a toddler passenger in a car seat was rescued from the burning car by passers-by Tuesday.

The identities of the victims were not released.

Police said the car swerved across the centerline into the path of a pickup truck.

Police said the crash closed Route 114 for several hours.

WMUR-TV reported that the toddler was in good condition.
