NORWAY – The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities announced that the Progress Center has been accredited for its Employment Services, Community Employment Services and Job Development programs for three years. Previously it earned a one-year accreditation.

This represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the Progress Center’s substantial conformance to the standards established by CARF. It means the Progress Center has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its program and services are of the highest quality.

The Progress Center is a nonprofit agency with offices at 35 Cottage St. It has been providing residential, vocational, case management, day habilitation, in-home support and transportation services for adults and children in Oxford, Cumberland and Androscoggin counties since 1980.
