I would like to commend the Sun Journal for the Sept. 23 opinion page.

Rarely do I bother with mainstream media, and it is refreshing to see letters printed that do not support the status quo.

In particular, I would like to comment on a letter from Bill Brock that airs his concerns about surviving another four years under the present administration. I couldn’t agree more and have said the same thing, but my life overseas has heightened the frightening reality of another four years with that cast of characters.

To add, I would even make this radical suggestion: Anyone who considers himself a real patriot could not possibly support George W. Bush.
