GARDINER – The “ALIVE! from Johnson Hall” performing series is seeking musicians for its 2005 shows.

The deadline for submissions is Oct. 15. The shows will be 7:30 p.m. Friday nights, from March 4 through April 22, before live audiences.

Musical acts can send press release materials, a photograph of the act, contact information and a clearly labeled CD or cassette recording representative of their proposed performance to Johnson Hall, according to the center. Eight artists will be selected and notified by mid-November. The submitted materials won’t be returned unless specifically requested and accompanied by an adequate self-addressed stamped envelope. Karaoke acts won’t be considered.
