Arrogance, arrogance, arrogance!

On the front page of the Sun Journal Sept. 23 was a story headlined “Fees, fees, fees.”

This is what I got out of that article: The people, who spend taxpayers’ hard-earned money will continue to get our money any way they can to continue to spend the way they want to. If we vote for this tax cap, this is what they are going to do to the taxpayer and homeowner. If they bankrupt us, that’s too bad.

That type of attitude has brought about the tax cap, and I don’t think city officials are listening yet to the overtaxed citizens.

City officials seem to be saying that they like to spend our money the way they see fit, and it doesn’t matter if we like it or not.

I can see a lot of court action with that type of attitude. If that doesn’t change, I think the governing body should seek other employment elsewhere.
