Sen. Rotundo’s ability to steer the course through tough fiscal times makes her the best leader for Lewiston in our state Senate. Her leadership derives from her experience and her strong ethical framework.

Peggy has applied this leadership to good end. When looming deficits threatened MaineCare services, Peggy increased efficiencies to preserve benefits. Among the services she restored were day treatment for those with brain injuries, case management at community health centers, prosthetic limbs, emergency dental care, occupational therapy, audiology, optometry, social worker services and psychological treatment. In addition, Rotundo has protected Maine’s prescription drug benefits for the elderly and disabled.

Peggy has worked to balance the budget, while always putting people first. Peggy is a tireless advocate for the interests of Lewiston and a strong Maine. We can count on her to do the people’s business. Go to the polls and vote for Peggy on Nov. 2.
