There are many reasons to re-elect Bruce Bryant as a state senator.

He is an honest, intelligent and compassionate man.

Several years ago, my mother was badly burned in a fire at a nursing home. At the time, there were no laws requiring smoke alarms in each patient’s bedroom.

Even though Bruce had not been involved with such issues in his regular committee assignments, he was more than willing to ride down to Lewiston with me and meet with an attorney who had volunteered to help initiate new legislation that would require the installation of smoke alarms in each bedroom of all such facilities in the state of Maine.

Thanks, in part, to Bruce’s efforts, many elderly people will now be better protected from being burned in horrible accidents.

Bruce Bryant has my vote.
