This letter is in support of Rep. Lois Snowe-Mello, who is the candidate in District 15 (Auburn, Poland, Durham and New Gloucester).
She has served four terms representing Maine voters in her district, demonstrating common sense in her many decisions. Her voting record bears out her consistent stand in trying to cut spending in Augusta.
The message is clear: If more of the legislators would have followed her lead, Maine voters wouldn’t have to face a tax-cap vote in November.
Due to her attention to her large constituency, she has voted in the best interest of the citizens and the state. She has supported the towns in her district by opposing unfunded mandates and costly regulations, which help keep the property tax down.
She has proven her ability and experience. That’s why I’m supporting her.
