My reasons for supporting Sen. Bruce Bryant relate to the flood in Canton and all that Bruce did to help. Bruce arrived in town the day of the flood, rolled up his sleeves and went to work. He made countless calls to contractors and plumbers. By that night, 90 percent of the affected homes were up and running.

Bruce has a lot of connections and he used them to get the ball rolling. By the weekend, seven state agencies were in town. He contacted the Army Corps of Engineers and they did an analysis of water temperature to predict when the flood would recede.

Bruce is working with us on the $3.2 million federal grant for relocation of the town. I can’t say enough good about Bruce. He grew up here and knows the problems we face. We need to keep him as our senator.
